48386795_10161224212115187_6706092606612307968_n (1)Francyne Walker holds the power of the pen in her hand.  Whether it be on paper or on-camera, she loves to tell a good story.  The creative social butterfly recently took a leap and left a career in health care to follow her dreams for a career in television.  The fashionista landed on her feet as a TV reporter at HOM-TV in Okemos, Michigan.  Additionally, Francyne writes professional biographical sketches and also does voice-over work.  Her voice has been described as lyrically smooth and can be heard on several corporate voice mails and radio spots, including “Exam Experts” and “Memphis for Less.”

In 2006, she host, wrote and produced her own cable television show, “Your Taste or Mine,” where she sampled local cuisine from the simple to the sophisticated.  She published her first book, “Fit and Fab for Life” in 2013.  It’s a collection of 50 tips to help readers get fit and be fab for life.  Her inspiration for the book was her weight loss – 60 lbs. Francyne enjoys traveling, reading, working out, fine dining, shopping, listening to music and values quality time with her family.  She has one son who graduated from Oakland University in 2014 and a one niece who is like the daughter she never had.

She is a graduate of Wayne State University’s Journalism Institute for Media Diversity Program with a Bachelor or Arts degree in Journalism and she recently completed a Master’s degree in Communications at Wayne State University in 2010.  Her specialties include public speaking, broadcasting, writing, television production, event management, strategic planning, meeting organization, health care, retail, trend spotting, and working with young people.
